The Role

The IT Supervisor will oversee the company’s IT infrastructure, applications, and asset management while leading and executing tasks to ensure IT operations' reliability, efficiency, and scalability. This role requires a hands-on leader who can strategize with the IT Delivery Manager and collaborate to fulfill the overall IT strategy.

Your Team

• You will be reporting directly to the CTO for operational progress.
• You will be working in tandem with the IT Delivery Manager.
• You will help supervise IT Admins.
• Your main customers are the employees of the company.
• Work with the different function groups such as HR, Finance and Administration for governance and standards executions.

Your Responsibilities

IT Infrastructure and Facilities:

• Oversee physical IT infrastructure, including servers, data centers, and other facilities.
• Ensure environmental conditions for IT facilities are optimal to prevent equipment failure and prolong hardware lifespan.
• Regularly maintain and upgrade IT facilities to meet operational requirements and support business continuity.

IT Applications:

• Manage the deployment, maintenance, and support of all internal IT applications.
• Provide training and resources to employees to maximize the effective use of IT applications.
• Establish a robust support system to resolve IT application issues quickly, minimizing downtime and disruption.

IT Asset Management:

• Maintain an accurate inventory of all IT assets, including hardware and software.
• Manage the lifecycle of IT assets from procurement to disposal.
• Implement security measures to protect IT assets from theft, damage, and unauthorized access.

Network Infrastructure:

• Design, implement, and manage the company’s network infrastructure.
• Implement and monitor network security measures.
• Continuously monitor network performance and resolve issues promptly.

Information Security:

• Work with the ITX Delivery Manager to implement and oversee the company’s information security program.
• Ensure compliance with relevant information security standards and regulations.
• Develop and maintain an incident response plan to address security breaches quickly.
• Conduct regular security awareness training for employees.

Policy and Compliance:

• Work with the ITX Delivery Manager and CTO to formulate and enforce comprehensive IT policies and procedures.
• Ensure adherence to industry standards and compliance regulations.
• Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure compliance with IT policies and procedures.

Innovation and Continuous Improvement:

• Stay at the forefront of emerging IT trends and technologies.
• Drive continuous improvement within the IT operations department by adopting best practices and innovative solutions.

Performance Tracking and Reporting:

• Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to IT operations, asset management, security, and network performance.
• Provide strategic insights to company leadership based on performance data.

IT Services:

• Explore opportunities to expand ITX to become an Enterprise partner for enterprise tools.
• With your experience in implementing several IT systems, consider partnering with certain enterprise tools and offering them to clients, such as becoming a Microsoft Partner to implement Active Directory for enterprises or becoming a Sophos partner for MDM implementation or becoming a Google partner to implement Google Workspace to enterprise clients.
• Together with the ITX Delivery Manager, you will both lead and potentially grow an Enterprise Solutions Business Unit, building a dedicated tech team to support these initiatives.

About You

You are/have: 

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT infrastructure management, network administration, and IT support.
• Proven experience in leading IT teams and managing IT projects.
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, network management, information security, and IT asset management.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to execute tasks independently.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
