The Role

As a Software QA Manager for specialized capabilities, you have the opportunity to make a difference in our clients, the community and within yourself.

You will be working with our partners in helping them realize their goals by ensuring quality in their applications.

You will be collaborating with the QA Management Team in developing strategies and frameworks that would enhance customer experience.

You will be changing the lives of the QA Team members by managing learning and capability building initiatives.

Your Team

  • You will be working with a team of project managers, software engineers and software testers in ensuring the quality of the applications that we create.
  • You will be collaborating with the client’s business team to ensure functionalities are consistently assessed for quality.
  • You will be working with the Head of QA in modernizing existing QA capabilities, building new capabilities for the QA Team and in developing new quality initiatives within Stratpoint.
  • You will be mentoring at least 5 Software QA Engineers.

Your Responsibilities

  • Modernize Stratpoint QA’s current capabilities that include Test Automation, Performance Testing and Specialized Testing.
  • Design quality solutions for our clients.
  • Own the quality delivery for at least one project.
  • Improve and report quality metrics for projects and accounts.
  • Participate in sales and pre-sales activities as QA tech consultant.
  • Create new specialized capabilities in the field of Artificial Intelligence.
  • Perform basic QA tasks - test planning, test documentation, test execution, test reporting, test automation.
  • Mentor a team of Software QA Engineers.
  • Manage capability building efforts within the QA Team.
  • Manage and grow quality initiatives within Stratpoint.

About You

You are/have:

  • Graduate of any computer related course
  • At least 10 years working experience in Software Quality Assurance
  • Working experience or knowledge in the following:
  • Test Automation
  • Performance Testing
  • Specialized Testing (Web, Mobile, API, AI, Data)
  • Working experience or knowledge in the following:
  • Programming Language: Java, Javascript, or any other languages
  • Automation Framework: Page Object Model, BDD or any other framework
  • Version Control System: GIT or any other similar system
  • Automation Tool: Selenium, Katalon, Appium, Playwright or any other test automation tool
  • Performance Test Tool: JMeter, Blazemeter, LoadRunner or any other performance testing tools
  • Solid experience in developing and implementing Test Automation and QA practices and processes across an organization
  • Solid experience in managing, mentoring and training QA teams
  • Experience in helping build QA capabilities (i.e. process engineering, automation, etc.)
  • Experience in managing quality initiatives within an organization
  • Able to conduct management and client presentations

Nice to Have:

  • Any ISTQB Certification
