The Role

We are looking for a Business Analyst who will be responsible for driving the analysis of complex business problems and opportunities, scoping out potential solutions that align with business objectives, and translate the solution into clear requirements for the development teams.

Your Team

You will work and collaborate with cross-functional teams, demonstrate strong leadership abilities, and have the desire to be part of a fast-growing startup company where you’ll have the opportunity to guide the development of our portfolio of products.

Your Responsibilities

• Drive analysis of complex business problems and opportunities and collaborate with teams to create solutions that align with business objectives.
• Conduct detailed requirements gathering and analysis to ensure business requirements are clearly defined and documented.
• Create and maintain project documentation, including user stories and product backlogs, business requirements, functional specifications, and user documentation.
• Ensure written documentation is clear, understandable, audience-appropriate, and accurately captures key information required for a quality solution that meets business needs
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Project Management, Engineering, UI/UX Design, and QA to ensure successful product delivery that is aligned with business expectations.
• Act as a subject matter expert for the project and ensure that all stakeholders have a clear understanding of the product features, benefits, and limitations.
• Take ownership of support/project issues and engage the appropriate resources to reach a solution
• Ensure potential issues are tracked and escalated on time
• Participate and promote knowledge sharing, customer service, quality, innovation, and teamwork
• Coordinate or participate in obtaining estimates from all team members and provide those to the business for review and approval for small baseline initiatives
• Other duties as needed

About You

You are/have:

• Bachelor's/College Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent
• At least 3 years of experience in business analysis or related field
• Proven experience driving analysis of complex business problems and opportunities and making recommendations for solutions that align with business objectives
• Ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders.
• Ability to cope under pressure and prioritize work accordingly
• Ability to work independently and proactively
• Analytical and inquisitive, with excellent attention to detail
• Self-motivated work style with strong adherence to deadlines
• Experience with Agile methodologies (scrum, safe, etc)
