The Role
Technical Architect provides technical oversight, solution design, and technical management for projects of a specific stack or technology domain for the entire project lifecycle from pre-sales, delivery, maintenance, and closure as well as building and innovating new practices and tools to build the capability of that technology or domain.
This includes lending considerable technical expertise for technical analysis and design from pre-sales system design and estimations to problem-solving and support during actual project delivery to strategizing future plans and implementations considering business and technical aspects.
An excellent communicator, the Technical Architect is able to translate complex requirements into functional architecture and must have had hands-on experience in software development with the ability to manage complex programs.

Your Team
You will work closely with our business partners, the household brands in technology, such as Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, Microsoft and Outsystems.
Your Responsibilities
- Manage technical delivery and adherence to standards in projects by providing technical direction for the teams including coaching, people development, and hiring. Also helping measure risks in approaches and solutions in order to provide the most fit solution, combining technical and management perspectives.
- Assess technical products and systems; for purposes of troubleshooting, extension, design, and potential adoption.
- Involve in the pre-sales process by providing technical input in the design and crafting of the solution as well as necessary documentation such as the Solutions Design Document, and help draft the proposal in terms of cost, as well as client negotiation
- Keep up to date on trends and technical knowledge to support multiple projects, whether internal initiatives or external client projects be it in design, implementation, or troubleshooting in order to improve what is already existing or bring in something new in terms of tools, processes, or practice.
- Coach teams and/or multiple individuals for improvement in technical skills as well as career progression.
About You
You are/have:
- BS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or any related degree / vocational courses
- At least 5+ years of development experience.
- Has experienced a software development project from start to completion (pre-sales to post-production and feature changes)
- Hands-on programming skills in any open source technologies (e.g java, python, javascript, android, swift, etc.), with a preference for full-stack experience as well as database design and administration.
- Strong understanding of API concepts, with the ability to distinguish between synchronous and asynchronous API calls, as well as proficiency in HTTPS methods (POST, GET, PUT, DELETE),
- Experienced working with event-driven architectures, including platforms like Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, and Amazon Kinesis. Capable of evaluating and recommending the use of event-driven versus API-based architecture based on project requirements.
- Proficient in identifying the differences between microservices and monolithic architectures.
Nice to Have:
- Hands-on experience with cloud-based solutions, particularly AWS and Azure.
